I missed Nacho Night. Oh man, that really messes with the schedule if we have Nachos on a Friday night. I think subliminally I was hoping it was Thursday and that there was one more day of school before Spring Break starts??

Apparently it is not Thursday night.

According to the date up high on my blog page. I think I must be in Egypt time or something b/c it's still Thursday here. I'll look into it so it won't worry anyone. Like me.

QC, it's taken a nosedive. At least in our house.

I think today we'll talk a bit about QC. That's quality control for those of you who don't search out things/products/eg that are erroneously published/made/bought. Does anyone own a Toyota perhaps?? Well the guy who was working QC? He fell asleep. That is the only excuse he can claim. Luckily his cousin's brother's best friend's uncle works the night shift at the museum and there just happens to be an opening. (oooohhh, don't let me forget to mention our museum stuff) (Holy Batman, I think that's worthy of two posts today. So feel special, because you are. You have to like me, I gave you this addy, right?? Not like I told my family they HAD to read it, or post an appropriate number of comments each month so I look a bit more popular than I am. Nope~I wouldn't do that. And stop kicking my leg under the table or I'll tell on you!!!)

Ahem...I thought I'd share some oddities that I've come across lately that I know wouldn't make it past my QC watch. (I got the QC gift from my Dad~never watch a movie with him).

First off, it was Nacho night. Meaning it was Thursday night and since the 13 yr old who comes over to his Dad's house next door to us liked to sneak over here for nachos, he thought it'd be a good plan for us to serve that particular meal every Thursday, hence Nacho Night..Since I make the most excellent nachos of all, we've not vetoed Nacho Night just yet...

They don't eat meat next door. So Matt ends up eating two dinners. Smart kid! OK, so I am pulling chips out of the bag and come across "one of these things is not like the other~we all loved old school Sesame Street. And the Electric Company. And....oops, better share it. We did not ingest it, I am still spending my free time peering at this chip from every possible angle. I'm looking for the face of Jesus. It can happen. I just need to study it a bit more.

Here it is, I cannot believe that was actually in our bag. Out of all the bags to be had...(maybe it's a sign?)

OK, quickly on to number 2 QC problem. (( LOL, I was just rereading this, #2 )).Check this out, it's Walgreen's private brand toilet paper. There's this crazy indention on one end of the roll, then a protrusion on the other. Hey Walgreen's your TP sux. Not just b/c it's all warped and stuff, b/c it's not soft at all! Of course we are all embarrassed to take it back for the money back guarantee so we're using massive amounts to get rid of it faster. All that does is call the plunger out of hiding.




This one still weirds me out. We all love citrus fruit right? We count on them to look the same year to year and all that jazz. Well, my neighborhood grocery store felt like wacking people out or something by having lemons on display. Normally that'd be cool, right? These weren't. They were orange. Orange lemons?? Super kooky. I bought a couple, but honestly, they are still in the fruit bowl. I am actually a bit scared of them. For your viewing entertainment I will share with you that you are about to see. There is one orange lemon, one normal lemon and one tangelo.



Now this? Wow. I have never seen a bagel having fun before. I'm not saying another word. Spoke too soon, I only got charged for one!

I have a few hobbies. I love to read, but have bombed almost every time I've gone to the library this year. What's funny about that? The only books that have NOT bombed were the ones for learning PSE08. But since my PSE08 program won't have a decent conversation with me that sux. I also love to take photographs. I won't be pro, I'm lucky to get the focus on most of the time. And we are NOT going to talk about Photoshop Elements08. I don't want to spew fire tonight. The best name for me with taking pictures? A wannable, I'll admit it. I want the cameras that aren't ten years old, and I want the knowledge of effortless photo editing. So you'll get some pics, like them or not!

Kind of got off subject there so to swing it back....survivor707 means I am surviving breast cancer, I was diagnosed July 12, 2007. This year I am finishing up some additional breast surgeries, then hopefully I can have more range of movement and such, and hopefully a breast that resembles what it's supposed to. The blood tests for tumor markers are now every 6 months instead of 3 and that drives me bonkers. But I'm here. Right now. That's what counts.
